How to Read Your Score Report

Approximately 3 weeks after completing the JD-Next Admissions Assessment, you will receive notification that your score report is ready. From there, you can select which law school(s) to send your results as part of your law school admissions application.
Your score report provides your scaled score (400–1,000) and percentile ranking among other JD-Next test takers. It includes performance evaluations across key topic areas, showing your mastery of legal concepts like Expectation Damages and Promissory Estoppel.
The report also aligns assessed skills with law school doctrinal content, offering insights to guide both admissions and academic preparation. The score reports you share with schools in your law school application also will include your (unscored) essay response.
